FRAIL (Fragili Risonanze Alterate In Loop) is an extended-form composition unfolding through a single forty-minute sonic flow.
Born from material originally conceived years ago for an installation that was never realized, the work revisits and transforms those early intuitions into a suspended soundscape, shaped through analog processes, harmonic layering, and constantly shifting resonances.
FRAIL explores fragility as a state of transition: sounds emerge slowly, bend, dissolve, and return in new forms, creating a circular movement that oscillates between memory and transformation. Time gradually loses its narrative function and becomes a space to inhabit—an immersive environment in which the listener is invited to surrender to the flow.
In continuity with the sonic research explored in Lontano, this work further develops its most delicate and contemplative aspects, moving toward an even more rarefied and dreamlike dimension.
